ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and have lived in the "904" for most of my life. Nowadays, I reside in Saint Johns, Florida with my Labrador pup, Cisco. I have two sons, Cameron and Drew, who graduated with degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and a daughter, Ellie, who is currently there studying Occupational Therapy.

My passion for swimming started at a young age. I was two years old at my first lesson and my love for the sport only grew with time. I attended Bolles High School (Jacksonville, Florida), where I swam all four years and then continued my competitive career at Auburn University in Alabama. I started teaching lessons as a summer job when I was fifteen and have taught every summer since.

During the cooler months of the year, I can be found in elementary schools extending my love for teaching to a slightly dryer environment as a literacy coach. Above all, I love the opportunity to make a lasting change in a child's life; whether that be showing them how to sound out a word or teaching them how to save their own life.
